VALUATIONS
AFTAL receive many enquires weekly for valuations of signed
photos / memorabilia, either for insurance purposes or just
because someone wants to know how much their own item is worth.
With the years of experience the AFTAL Board has in the autograph / memorabilia business and our network of contacts within the industry, we feel we can now offer a service which will be a useful guide and a benchmark for the industry.
When considering getting a valuation please consider the following;
- Do you want a valuation for insurance (replacement value).
- A valuation if you were to buy retail today.
- A trade price if you were selling to a dealer.
We can now offer a emailed valuation which is a quick alternative
where we have not seen the item, this is £25 for the first item
and multiple items discounted according to quantity.
A typed valuation on AFTAL headed paper will be sent in the post, where we ask ideally for a digital image to be sent across to us. This service is £30 for the first item and multiple items discounted according to quantity.
